People loved their low-key hilarious content and it spread like wildfire. Eight posts went viral with more than 1 million hits.

Tarleton State University beat out the biggest names in the NCAA to rank #8 nationally out of 358 Division I colleges and universities in the 2022 Higher Education Social Media Engagement Report by Rival IQ. This medium-sized public university, located on a rural campus in Stephenville, Texas, showed their authenticity through in-the-moment content and a deep understanding of their audience’s mindset. Their three-part recipe brought sky-high engagement across all four social media platforms studied in this annual report: TikTok, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
