Childhood ambition (what did you want to be when you grew up?): I wanted to be Nancy Drew or a teacher. I’m scary good at being nosy and telling people what to do.
Current livelihood (what you’re actually doing as a grown-up): Social Media & Public Relations Coordinator.
First PR job: PR & Social Media Coordinator at PAVLOV Agency.
What you know now that you wish you’d known then: Buffer will be your best friend. Do not neglect it.
Best piece of advice you’ve ever received: “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
Greatest professional or personal accomplishment: In the fall of 2015, I planned a tailgate party for one of our clients, DFW Airport, to kick off football season. We had a giant football that people signed and we broke a Guinness World Record!
If you weren’t in PR, you would be: College admissions counselor or travel agent.
Why did you originally join PRSA? Since I moved to Fort Worth in the summer of 2015, I wanted to get to know more people in the PR community.
Finally, tell us about your hometown and what makes it cool. Not much happens in Argyle… We just built our first pay-at-the-pump gas station!
