What PR Professionals Can Learn from Improv Comedy

The group will offer a guide for how to combine creativity with commerce to create harmony in the workplace. The “yes, and” concept can empower professionals to be positive role models and change agents, and to be more productive both at work and at home.

Walk-ups: Add an additional $5 to the above prices

To account for additional costs associated with walk-ups and other meeting services, the Greater Fort Worth Chapter of PRSA uses the following reservation policy: Online reservations are due no later than 5 pm the Friday prior to the luncheon, and cancellations must be made by 5 p.m. the day before the luncheon. No-shows will be billed or a representative may attend in that person’s place at no additional charge. Walk-ups are accepted for an additional $5 if space is available.

Speaker Bios:

Four Day Weekend is a renowned comedy troupe specializing in interactive entertainment, performing scenes, sketches and songs based on audience suggestions and participation. In addition to its weekly live public performances at the troupe’s comedy theater in downtown Fort Worth, Four Day Weekend offers a variety of corporate event services, from keynote speaking and emcee work to team-building seminars and private shows.

The longest running show in the southwest, Four Day Weekend has engaged audiences in Sundance Square for 16 years with its members’ quick wit and clever humor. Critically acclaimed both locally and nationally, the group is a recipient of the Key to the City of Fort Worth; was invited to be a keynote presenter for the United States Congress Democratic Issues Conference in Washington, D.C.; has performed along with keynote presenter President George W. Bush on the anniversary of 9/11; was named “Best Entertainment Experience in Texas” by The Official Best Of organization; and has recently published its first book, “The Art of ImproviZEN.”
