Detavious Hill of Greater Fort Worth Chapter Recognized as PRSA Emerging Professional
Detavious Hill, M.S. has been named one of eight inaugural recipients of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Emerging Professionals Award, a new national recognition honoring communications professionals who are making a meaningful impact on their organizations, communities and the communications profession.
The PRSA Emerging Professionals Award recognizes professionals with two to seven years of experience whose work demonstrates innovation, creativity, critical thinking, ethical practice and measurable impact.
The recipients represent a broad range of industries, including education, health care, financial services, tourism and public relations agencies. Award recipients were selected based on their professional accomplishments, career progression, contributions to the industry and overall impact.
Unlike traditional recognition programs that may focus on age, title or management responsibility, the PRSA Emerging Professionals Awards focus on career experience, contributions and achievements.
The winners will be honored during the 2026 PRSA Emerging Professionals Program and Awards Ceremony on Oct. 18, 2026, in conjunction with PRSA ICON 2026 Conference. The Emerging Professionals Program will also feature sessions focused on teamwork, proactive storytelling and artificial intelligence, offering participants opportunities to build their skills and connect with fellow communications professionals.
